Question Some Indivision ECS questions

Hi all

since I took the plunge and ordered an Indivision ECS for my OCS A500 (not A500+) (so no fatter Agnus), having Kick2.05 in ROM (but capable of kicking to 1.2/1.3 and 3.1 using Skick) some Q I could not find the answer on:

a) if Indy is installed, will the DB23 plug still function? >so can I still hook up my Philips CM8833 CRT to the normal video port while the Indy is hooked up to a VGA screen? (they do not necessarily have to work both at same time)

b) is there a table/list of all frequencies H & V that a normal OCS based Indy can take? (eg. 51 Khz H @ 60 Hz V for resolution HHHxVVV) And perhaps a seperate table if you set the force 50Hz jumper?

c) I am thinking of buying a 50Hz V-freq capable LCD, will any TV LCD with 50Hz or even a 100Hz work? (assuming 100Hz TV will simply post-process by doubling the 50Hz entry without the Indy realizing this)

d) Or if I take a 50Hz capable PC monitor, I did notice in some specs it says e.g. "scanning frequency: 50Hz-76Hz" but later on it says e.g. "supported resolutions: 800x600 @ 56Hz". Does this mean I will still see tearing if the Indy outputs 50Hz but internally the LCD somewhat converts it to 56Hz anyway causing extra frames/jerkyness?
Example below:

Because otherwise it does not make much sense as it defeats the whole purpose of having smooth PAL scrolling.

e) what is the downside of using 16:9 LCD vs 4:3 LCD for Indy? Will it stretch or keep black borders on 16:9 models? I guess 4:3 is better (but hard to find new these days!!), unless some Ami resolutions are somewhat different in aspect ratio favouring 16:9?

f) if I wish to enjoy more resolutions with Indy and I replace the agnus with a fatter model (not sure if I need the 1MB IC 8372A or one of the 2MB models, IC 8375-01 or IC 837510), will if lose backwards compatibility for good for OCS games? Or is a fatter agnus 100% compatible with the old one.

Thanks for your answers
