live pc folder access

i have a null modem cable and ive managed to get it to connect. i was wondering if there is any software that lets u use your pc harddrive or a folder as a drive on the amiga?

The only 2 options I can think of are:

Amiga Explorer (commercial). I think this only lets you access your Amiga from the PC though. I've never used it so I might be wrong.

Install a TCP/IP stack and get your Amiga online. Then use smbmount to mount your Windows shares. This is tricky to setup and I'd had limited success using a Windows PC as a PPP dial up provider. It's much easier with Linux.

If you go the SMBFS route, there is a newer version released recently that works much better with newer versions of Windows. I made a commodity GUI for it that makes configuring it far easier, though you still need to know a little but about your network. It's available here. Bear in mind that you'll probably need at least more RAM than standard to use this sort of a setup.
