Any interest in Ys 1 and 2 on the Amiga?

You guys might've probably heard about those two legendary Falcom titles already, they revolutionalized Japanese role-playing games in the mid to late 80s. They received numerous ports to the MSX, NES, Master System, PC Engine, and multiple 8-bit computers we didn't get. Heck, the first Ys even came out on Apple 2GS and IBM PC!* Yet the Amiga was sadly left out of the deal like usual. I know there would be better ways to play them, and modern remasters too, but is there any interest in having these wonderful games for the Amiga 500/1200?

If you're wanting to do that yourself then go for it, otherwise the first 3 opuses of this saga are on my list of games to convert.

It is always great to have native version of great games on the Amiga.
Plus these two (and also the third one) could fill a gap in the Amiga game library, since we don't have classic japanese rpg.

Maybe a collaboration between hitch and Cris? Definitely worth doing, even if it's not really my thing. Western computers never really got any decent JRPGs, which is a shame.

I'm not really that good at programming, and even less so on the Amiga. I'll let our good old Hitchhikr develop his own ports
