Is there an easy way to use Xlib on the Amiga?

C++-sources of Xlife 7 depends only on Xlib. So Xlife 7 can be compiled for the best Amigas... But I don't know is there a translation library from Xlib into Amiga OS calls? It is sad that AXlife doesn't have sources. The author of AXlife provided sources for its conversion of Xlife for Microsoft Windows... Thanks in advance for any information.
