Leaderboard June 2020 Voting
Ahem.
Welcome to the beginning of Leaderboard. Consider yourself a pioneer. For anyone that didn't read the thread on the main board, I'll quickly say again that my hope is to create a fun and relaxed place for everybody to enjoy some Amiga games. You can vote for any Amiga game you like. If it has a score we will play for both the hi-score and to beat that game. If not then we play just to beat the game and maybe learn something new about it. Whatever it is we'll give it a go. It's all very simple so please help us get started by voting for something to play. Read my full intro here http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=102334 Now, fingers crossed this goes well. This vote ends at 23:59 (UK Time) on Thursday 28th May 2020. How to vote:

Cool idea, there's a fews games I'm interested in investing some time into, but I'm keen to see what others put up too.

A breath of fresh air. Nice and simple format with 2 games per month.
Maybe the Super League has run its course. Looking forward to games I have yet to play or beat. MYTH: History in the Making Kiro's Quest Chip's Challenge Troddlers Kult / Chamber of the Sci-Mutant Priestess |

I like the idea of this. As John says breath of fresh air.
I don't have any games in mind but I will have a go at whatever is decided. |

This is a very nice idea Biscuit - although I can't help but feel that there is a bit of a sense that this will be the EAB competition and the Super League will become a Lemon exclusive (which would be a bit of a shame but not that terrible a thing). Is that the feeling amongst the mods as well?
There are so many posters here at EAB, hopefully we can get bigger numbers interested in this competition. MYTH: History in the Making Cannon Fodder Kiwi's Tale (http://www.lemonamiga.com/games/details.php?id=4337) Rock'n'Roll The Settlers |

Thanks for taking part everyone.
I won't speak for the other mods as the events are separate. But as far as I know from recent conversations the super league is continuing as normal. There is also the open discussion on Lemon about possible future changes. Personally I don't mind if the league goes exclusive or not, it's a decision for the other mods. Either way, I'm focused on seeing Leaderboard become popular. It will give us a big variety of games to try. I've been interested in doing something different for a while now and the timing felt right. We'll see how it goes in terms of having two things running. People will be able to choose what they spend their time on. And anything that gets more people into this section of the forum and looking at all the threads will be a good thing. I will do what I can to promote it. Some good game choices so far. We already have a leader. @kkgarbod I nearly put down Jumping Jack'son myself. Want to give that a proper go one day. |

Gonna be honest, I thought you'd started a Leaderboard competition for a moment. Now I'm a combination of disappointed and relieved. (Lines is probably more disappointed than I am).

I'd like to think we play both types of games in this comp; Jack Nicklaus AND Leaderboard. |

I also found the name confusing at first. LinesMachine, you can always start your own competitions, the LinesMachine Golf Classics Trophy, where each week we go visit a new course in a different game. Certainly an opportunity now with everything shaking around at the moment.

Been having a play in Inkscape and came up with this logo. I don't know if you've already got a logo in development but you are welcome to use this if you want?
Have vector svg files if you want them to resize. Based on EAB logo colours and font which is NationalyzeALP. |

If we say there are 28 Golf games on Lemon, with some AGA variants, and each game contains an average of 2.5 courses, thats 70 different courses to play. If you include classics like Amy Putt and Hole in One, I think these have 6 courses? Plus there are the Data Disks which we dont normally get to see or play. If you play 2 courses per month thats 35 months before you have to repeat them. |

It could be resized to closer match the width of the game images. No idea what that is right now but if you link me the file I can do it. Will look good at the top of the page. |

We are over halfway through the vote. Keen to get to the games now.
Great to see people who haven't been down here before or for a long while. Due to this being the first vote we have a very wide range of games being voted for. Even so there are 6 that have gained traction. A couple of votes can make the difference. If you're out there - Would be great if you join us. |
