Would ZBlood compile easy to Amiga? It uses ZDoom engine.
https://blood-wiki.org/index.php?title=ZBlood Of course original source port would be best, but these are too hard I ques. https://blood-wiki.org/index.php?title=BloodGDX https://blood-wiki.org/index.php?title=NBlood (though there is already eduke port?) |

ZBlood is awesome idea.
A whole new game for Amiga. Slowly, but surely, we will play Far Cry, Skyrim, Elite Dangerous, Flight Simulator 2020. |

NovaCoder uploaded an update to Aminet there recently, version 1.22.8, and I'm having difficulties on my system (Apoll0 1260 64mb@80mhz), so just checking if anyone else is having similar issues or if it's just my setup. The previous version from a few years back runs great with no probs.
Anyway, it loads to the title screen, but it is completely corrupted and eventually crashes. Have extracted on PC and amiga, and used different WADs, same result. Like I say, I'm having great fun with the previous version, just having a bit of FOMO |

zdoom -file zBLUDv41.WAD BludSP1.WAD just freezes Amiga and after few seconds reboot. Tried both AGA and RTG. Also checked that stack should be 300000

Tried this with the version I downloaded from the Zone - added hereticsound.library to the command line, but it just reports that doomsound.library is patched...

Try snoopdos to confirm which (and where from) library CAMDoomSound opens.

It's opening LIBS:doomsound.library. Tried removing doomsound.library and it just failed.

Mhhhm, odd. Guess I’ll have to get my hands on Hertic and try myself.

Well, bad news. Heretic’s hereticsound.library is incompatible with CAMDoomSound. Nothing I can do without source.

You may try Chocolate-Heretic (also one of Lantus’ ports) from Aminet. That could work.

A big sorry for the delay. last ZDOOM it works with pipper patch. (sound a bit low, maybe any config problem?) I select max MOD Music Volume that I can. Just 20% of the whole bar.

sure!
Btw, I have heard many times that Doom engines are limited to 35fps. It is true? This ZDOOM engine too? not possible to get 50 or 60fps? I think that with vampire it would have enough power for try a better framerate. Its just curiosity, it is totally playlable rightnow. |
