PlanetEmu is running very slowly today, so the ADF is from Archive.org. Let us know if this is working.

Players need to loop the second driving section twice to get enough money for the sub conversion.

Inside the base (and the final corridor) is played using the Mouse, but joystick Fire button is used to fire. Yes this is a quirk of the game, so no remapping of buttons for this section. You can use lower DPI settings if your mouse supports it, or use the emulator setting. On a real Amiga, 400 DPI laser mice are probably best.

After that, you must figure out the code symbols to unlock the computer, then enter the numbers printed in the rules. Its best to write these down and keep them close in case you reach this part, rather than pausing and having to look up the code; as this breaks the immersion of the game.

In the final corridor, you have to memorise the patterns of all the red shirts, and shoot them before they shoot you. Never miss an ammo box - shoot them for more bullets.

No, I got to level 2 and barely got a quarter of the way through it. I found that doing the car part of level 1 very slowly is the best way, and that the water section is easier, at least after you have had a couple of goes and know where the dead-ends are.

I'm not sure how you are supposed to survive all the enemy vehicles on level 2, but I haven't had too many goes at it yet. I found the Lemon Amiga Review crucial to finding out the objectives though, especially as there is no manual on HOL. I think I will only understand the code-cracking part when I manage to get that far.

Regarding water dead-ends: there is a map in left part of the screen.

Yes, although as Lifeschool correctly points out in the video, one part of the map is misleading

Thanks for checkout out my playguide video capehorn. It is very old now, and my narration sounds like I'm 80 years old. See the lemon thread for my latest tips; as it takes what I learned in the video a little further.

In other news. You may have notice a new Leaderboard competition is now open. Submit your votes now to be in with a shout in the first round. If this is a success, I would be very happy to hand the Super League over to this new championship. So this may be our final round under the old regime.

News Update:

As mentioned, there is a brand new competition now available called Leaderboard. As there are only a few people using this page on EAB, it is felt that it is perhaps best to close this side of things down after this round, so EAB has the Leaderboard, and Lemon has the Super League. Then we can see how it goes. I know Mike is keen to keep this side open, but as the team element is broken, it makes sense if we all play for one team.

Let us know your thoughts on this. It takes time to take care of the stats and scores on here, for just a few people.

Rules Update:

We have relatively few rules this round, but I figured we are best to limit the game to one loop. The game is very easy in general, and doesnt get any harder after the first loop, so if you take a snapshot from the pier at the start of level 1, this will count as one loop.

I was going to ask this yesterday. Ironically, as fate would have it, we still have a lifeline to the forum thanks to this very thread... Even though still nobody uses it.

All posted scores are still valid, and posting scores from either forum is fine, as the stats for your name will simply be updated.

I thought we had an 'is Lemon Down?" thread, but as it was inactive for so long, the dead thread robots on here may have deleted it.

I seem to be rather more busy than usual so sorry for the late post.

Looking at the numbers, EAB was quite strong in the first half of this leg, but perhaps the incident with malko put people off? I'd still like to hear thoughts on this, and where you see the compo from here.

I cant see any harm in posting a blank vote thread on here with 'see Lemon for rules' and also a rather blank post for the rounds, where EAB players can still post scores if they want to join in. Maybe Mike will jazz them up to look like normal for you guys. Its all about participation, and as long as there is a demand, we can look at accommodating those needs.

I wouldn't want to make too much work for the mods who have enough on their plates, but a basic copy/paste post from Lemon and then allowing us to post scores in here would be nice. Over time numbers might improve and EAB will be a force again.

Well, I didn't know I had that much clout , but I really don't believe it.
