Strange WHDLOAD crash with Advantage Tennis

Hello.

I suffer an annoying crash with WHDLOAD (both 16.4 and 16.5) with various games on my A600 with Apollo630, 2 Mo Chip, 32 Mo Fast, OS3.1.
I am a registered user of WHDLOAD, which works flawless on my others amiga.

I precisely get a random 'CHK, CHK2 error" that trashes me back to the WB when i am in a game. For now i play only Advantage Tennis (installed from my original) but it sometimes happens with some other games.

I have tried all the usual tooltypes for WHDLOAD but no success.

Anyone got any idea what this error could mean?

I don't think it's a major stability problem with the infamous Apollo 630 since it is perfectly cooled and runs stable for hours under WB.

Thanks for your help.

Precise error message is "Exception 'CHK, CHK2 Instruction' ($2018) at $16 occured"

The second number may sometimes be different.

It could be related to your Apollo630. Found this in WHDLoad docs a few days ago:

http://www.whdload.de/docs/en/bugs.html

Quote:
There are some rare hardware configurations which don't support the MMU related features of WHDload. The only systems affected are 68030 based. The option MMU/S must not enabled on these systems! If the option is set, WHDLoad will freeze the whole machine. Currently the following hardware is known to cause problems: accelerator boards "Apollo A630", "Apollo 1230", "Elbox 1230" and "Magnum MK2"
Not really sure what to do, as I don't have an Apollo630. (Have you tried NoMMU option?) Maybe Wepl can help out here?

Best regards
Jacob

Indeed this bug do exists. If is set MMU/S WHDLOAD freezes at its blue start screen.
But in that case,i am already in NOMMU in the general prefs of Whdload.

The game doesn't freeze but exits to WB with an error message.

Thanls for your help

Finally, i got a clue!
It could be because of a screwed A500 kickstart image! All the games that cause me errors use the kickstart emulation!
The weird thing is that the same files work fine on my A1200T.
Anyway i have to try a different A500 kickstart there.
