Shit Game Time: DNA Warrior (Amiga)
Good lord what a terrible bland shmup on the Amiga this is for a costly sum of £19.95 back in 1989 (that's £57 in 2024!).
Small play area, oversized ship, almost impossible to collect more than 1 power-up capsule without dying and extremely hard to turn your ship around to fly the other way to get to an exit, terrible music and on top of that an absolute shite ending, just laughable when you consider the stunner Hybris was released a year earlier for pretty much the same price, just terrible. i remember this game when i had a commodore 64 and how many people love this game. I played so much, but i have your same conclusion. Nice idea to travel in the human body, but with a frutrating difficulty that in the end is a terrible game.

Really good idea though, they were on to something with this one. Traveling through the human body is great but also the game has an energy bar, it is not the typical single hit death shooter. There is some real thought behind this. Just... not a whole lot of experience to go along with the enthusiasm. I see you shooting through those narrow slivers quite a bit which is a flaw no amount of good ideas can forgive.

Depends on the size of the enemy from the looks of it, I see mister god gamer being hit by 4 smaller enemies in a row too and surviving it.
