Seeing a lot of remakes of old games recently on android.. This one actually looks pretty good!

★ Classic Mode – Play using the original graphics, music and controls.
★ Enhanced Mode – Featuring enhanced graphics, audio and controls.
★ 4 New Levels – entirely new levels that intersect with the original Alien Breed story
★ 6 original Alien Breed levels
★ 12 Alien Breed Special Edition levels

I think some games should stay lores - SuperFrog, Dizzy, Great Giana Sisters.

Or at least offer option like Alien Breed to change to original version.

Not a fan of touch screen gaming though, would rather hold onto my stick

VERY nice conversion though, feels so much like the original, a sterling job!

Am I the only one who thinks the "HD" graphics are somewhat sterile occasionaly and not even one pixel more detailed, just bigger and more "bloated"? It's quite a nice remake though (they actually recreated it, it's not just an emulation).

control scheme = fail. Can't play a game when it doesn't actually play well, especially fast paced action games :/ Really nice try though, and it was likely a very good training to get to know Android game programming for the guys at Team 17; I'd like to believe this is going to lead to more interesting and more fitting ventures in the future.

+ controls, speed and mechanics from original
+ original full screen graphics with additional colors and details
+/- aliens are less aggressive
+/- some new sounds
+/- bullets are visible
+/- tutorial after each new item
- bulky soldier on lift between levels
- ugly new Team 17 logo
- online shop on title screen
- you can not customize controls
- Facebook button on level complete screen
- transvestite as computer voice

Can we at least agree on a transvestite with low tone voice (whiskey voice) would be preferred?

Living in a country with total gender confusion, I consider myself relatively open minded.
