IDE68K and A500
Hi there, i've recently acquired one of these IDE68K adapters, concretelly the v106 version. I've checked the homepage for some info about how to install it, but i still have some doubts.
It's clear for me how and where i should take power to feed the IDE68k adapter, but i have no clue about where should i get the power to feed the 3'5" CF-IDE i plan to put there. Any idea? Thanks! |

After do this mod to get the two lacking signals from motherboard, just split the floppy power cable and get +5V from there.
Too far away? Get it directly from the Amiga power connector (use a multimeter to find where +5V and ground are). BTW: the "1" mark in the photo is GND! The pin on its side is +5V. CHECK WITH A MULTIMETER FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

The adaptor is from Mika Leilonen, from Finland (near enough to you, mate?).

They were €50 you know. Tad expensive considering you could get at least two A600's for that price.

Last time I sold an A1200 030 it went for over 800 euro. Turnkey system though.
