Finalwriter 97
Looking for the last in the line. Checked the older threads on the subject but app is no longer in the zone. Should be a doozy as 5.03 is 9 disks.

Have a look on the EAB file server in the folder 'Misc/The Zone!/F'.

Awesome - works a treat.
Disk 9 is corrupted, but it seemed to install ok. That is just the grammer disk anyhoo. |

I have deleted the archive in the 'Misc/The Zone!/F' folder which contained .DMS disk images and uploaded a replacement in the 'App/Disk' folder which contains verified .ADF images extracted from the .DMS images in the old archive. |

Thanks, Prowler! I'll pull the "updated" one down and give it a go.

Thanks, TheBilgeRat! Please let us know how it goes. There are sure to be more than a few other troublesome archives on the server and your feedback will help to confirm that this one, at least, is now fixed.

Went and checked the "App/Disk" section and only found the 1996 version.

So, "Finalwriter'97.zip', obtained from APPS/Disk on the fileserver, works flawlessly. This version will actually save your work. Disk 9 had no checksum error notation, and now that they are in .adf, just load all 9 disks with adf-device virtually and go to town.
Brilliant! |
