What solution are you using to write the IPF image back to disk?

Whatever the method, always read back the disk that you have written to and compare against the IPF image.

ALPS drive received, brand new. I use wildewuzz to write back. Which tool should I use to built / compare ipfs from the raw files?

Use HxC Floppy Emulator Software - https://hxc2001.com/download/floppy_drive_emulator/

You will also need the SPS CAPS plugin to support IPF files - http://www.softpres.org/download

exact, you need first to convert the DSK to RAW files for writing.

I'll stick with Greaseweazle, even if you convert a DSK to KF RAW streams some protections won't convert correctly!

I tested writing quite a few DSK images and protections for Keir and only 2 wouldn't write back until he fixed GW to write them, KBI Master and GAPS!
