Finally getting my Power Tower into a state I'm happy with, as this year I finally got a network card for it, and networked up to the other computers in the house and online.
I was also given a proper Amiga (2000?) keyboard from a member of the South West Amiga Group, which meant I could at long last ditch the crappy PC keyboard I'd been using. I'm now hoping to get some AMOS coding done over the Christmas break. Actually, thinking about it, 2011 has seen my Amiga receive more use and love than it has in many a year. |

Watching longplay of No Buddies Land. I really like graphics and it's my favourite genre of game.

I've a couple of eureka moments this year, finally getting my A1200T setup as I wanted it with OS4.1 Classic running off SATA HDD via PCI SATA Bridge was great.
I'm probably more inpressed though with my A4000T/CSPPC. I guess this was the last and fastest real classic hardware produced, with the CyberVision PPC the best and fastest RTG setup pre PCI And to see Quake II running on that setup [ Show youtube player ] Oh to have owned that setup back in the day! Getting a 64 MB stick for my Blizzard 1230 and actually being able to use most of that extra memory for something other than showing up in the Workbench title.

All the amazing improvements in WinUAE and AROS-68k.
But I'd say getting the email from Francois Lionet after he tried my AMOS Win32 installer. |
