HOL 2.0 considers "Worms" and "Worms: The Director's Cut" to be the same game
Searching for "Worms" on the new HOL (which I love, by the way! Loving the new design and interface) reveals that the new system considers the two games to be variations of the same title. This is not the case - WormsDC should be considered its own title with its own listing.

As far as I remember those are two different games. Maybe Cd32 version of orginal "Worms" got additional name "directos cut"? I meant cd32 version is same as first Worms floppy version. Later Tram17 released new game also called Worms Directors Cut for AGA machines.

They are entirely different games. The original Worms (both Amiga and CD32) does have a subtitle on the main menu that says "The Directors Cut!", because Andy Davidson (the game's original creator) coded the Amiga version.
But Worms: The Director's Cut is an entirely different game released a year and a half later exclusively for AGA machines, which adds a ton of new features, weapons, and stuff. The two games are frequently mistaken for each other. |

The new system works different to how it was before. Worms and Worms: The Director's Cut are two versions of Worms and that's why they appear now in the same HOL entry. We are working on making it better visible which version is which in the screenshot, scans, and manual tabs.

As TCD mentions the new HOL uses a Game -> Versions -> Releases structure to combines information previously across multiple entries into one.
Worms and The Director's Cut were combined because of the relationship in old HOL: "is an updated version of". |

There are several relationships for games that aren't really updates, but a release of its own. Can we have a new category such as "is a remastered version of" or maybe to put them as "is a sequel of"?

I don't see the issue here. It's still Worms with some updates, which is just what a "Director's Cut" is. It's not a new or different game.
