MP4 players for the kids christmas

Hi all,
my kids are asking for mp4 players as xmas gifts.

Can anyone recommend a sub £60 MP4 player (preferably with divx/xvid support).

A google search throws out lots of suggestions, but as always personal recommendation is worth a thousand adverts.

My eldest boy got given an Akasu 2gb thing two years ago but it is total cr*p - they sell for $14.99 on amazon. I am anxious to avoid these really poor quality examples.

Many thanks.

From wikipedia:

"Some devices advertised as "MP4 players" are simply MP3 players that also play AMV video and/or some other video format, and do not play MPEG-4 part 14 format. To the makers of these players, the "MP4" designation simply means that they play more than just MP3. This can get rather confusing for potential buyers."

yup very confusing!

Thats why divx/xvid playback is a must. I cant face converting all of my dvdrips to amv or some other wacky format.
