Amiga 1200 HD Question
Hi, i was wondering that are the down sides to the Amiga 1200 HD made by Escom, i know its pretty much the same, but instead of double density drives it uses high density floppies.
I heard it has software incompatibility, anyone have further information on this? |

It uses PC floppy drives with a hack on the motherboard to make them work with AmigaDOS disks. But the drives are missing an important signal which makes many games with copy protection fail to load.

You can restore the compatibility of the Amiga Technologies A1200 with copy protected floppy disks with one of Stedy's floppy drive adapters.
