I could complete first level of first world once

The game could benefit from easier difficulty setting. 5 keys is really too much. I have a made a trainer with 1 key (which makes the game too easy), I suppose I could change that to a setting (number of keys to complete level: 1-5)

There are also some special powers if you hold the fire button, but they either don't make much sense or they are just useless. Combined with the cruel difficulty, I quickly lost interest.

A pity, since this is such a polished game.

problem is that if the game was released in 1992 people would possibly consider it a classic. in 2020 we just find a new "old" game too hard

Can the slave just be copied over the beta, or should I actually reinstall from scratch?

Floppy disk Smarty and the Nasty Gluttons [t+8]

ross proudly presents:

Smarty and the Nasty Gluttons [t+8]
trainer, disk format and stuff by ross
intro code by mr.spiv
intro music by Estrayk

---
Trainer:
Activate in-game cheat keys
Infinite lives
Unlimited items
Start world
Initial number of lives
Initials "Super Shoe"
Initials "EarthQuake"
Initials "Slurpy"
---

In-Game cheat key:
S/RMB - Skip (sub)level
L - increases the number of lives by one
F1 - increases "Super Shoe" by one
F2 - increases "EarthQuake" by one
F3 - increases "Slurpy" by one

Default new features:
P - Pause, any other key to unpause, P when paused advance one frame
ESC - back to game initial screen
2nd button, alternative for Jump (Joy up still works)
Boot and load from any drive!
Save High-Score to ADF as well to real floppy, if you don't cheat
Can be run from WB icon or CLI (no proper exit, use WHDLoad instead)

Fixed two little bugs (a cosmetic one and a paranoid/exotic one*)
[should be fixed for the boxed version, *if you find it you will win a mr.spiv autograph ]

Note.
Single disk for game, intro and trainer (it was a big challenge!)
In the trainer menu: select option then use RMB to increase value, LMB to decrease (but you know this..)
If you increase the lives available using the in-game cheat key you will notice a small shake of the screen:
then you will know that the function took effect even if you don't see the incremented value right away

Greetings to all geezer on EAB and 68k survivors!
Keep the scene alive!!

You can connect to my code, I assure you there is not much work to do.
And I can provide all the information you need and the addresses/parameters of the routines.

Well, my boxed game just crossed the border. Stopped by the customs office. They have sent me these 11 (ELEVEN) papers for a customs declaration. I have to fill those (by hand), attach some additional documents and start a dealing with the post and customs office. Plus pay an extra fee to the post office (probably cash) and pay the customs (maybe in gold). I have a feeling I have dropped in time straight into 19th century. This was my last order from UK, I do not have nerves for this. Thank you, brexit.
