Mod not playing correctly in Modplug: Speed change F30->F06

Hi,

i have some problems replaying this mod in Modplug correctly:

On pattern position 2 (pattern #16) it changes the speed to F30 at the end.

After that it starts on pattern position 3 (pattern #0) with speed F06:

But the (faster) speed will be ignored, it still plays with F30!

Any ideas?

Fxx : Speed (00-1F) / Tempo (20-FF)

So both are more or less (two in one) independent commands.

Ah ok... but how can i run the mod in Modplug properly now? Set F06 for the speed and reset the tempo or something like that?

This MOD must be played in VBlank. Meaning, there's only set speed in that MOD.
There are 3 F1F+ to consider in there. Just replace them with pattern delay (and don't spread the result

).

I agree with Asle. For your own resave but don't spread it. ;-)

Actually the mod looks like a Noisetracker mod similar to face another day. If you'd replay it in NT (or a modplayer, which handles such mods) it should sound correctly.

Btw. there are more (subtle and not so subtle) differences between Noise- and Protracker, so replaying such mods in MPT might have other side effects.
