By searching on the internet, you can find such a thing [ Show youtube player ].
Amiga did all the local overlays for prevue guide/channel, have a look at this one for example! [ Show youtube player ] (forward to 2m50 and 4:40 to see some AmigaDOS booting in action

It's custom software (not Scala in this case) and was used in pretty much every cableco in the states at some time or other. The software was pretty buggy by all accounts, offering the guru quite often. Shame of it was the A2000 didn't automatically continue like the newer Amigas, leaving the Guru up there until someone went to the headend and pressed the mouse! For shame!

Yeah! Although I live in Germany since a few years, I come from Rome and I know that shop very well. It's close to St. Peter's dome, and it's really still there selling commodore stuff amongst other things.
Back in the days they were probably the biggest importers and spreaders of cracked games in Rome and therefore in Italy.

It's not quite the same thing but I spotted a spiritual successor yesterday when a site I was browsing failed with a 503 error, it turns out that the default error page generated by the Varnish HTTP accelerator contains the infamous phrase. An example can be seen at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9...uru-meditation

It's not in the public place, but I got it when one of the homebrew sw crashed on my Nintendo Ds Lite. I forgot what the homebrew was.
