AsmOne and IncBin
I've got a small problem with AsmOne (Version 1.20) and incBin
Code:
include "filename.asm" Code:
incDir "Sources:bla/bla/" My asmOne works fine otherwise. Is there something I can do about this, or am I supposed to upgrade AsmOne or switch to AsmPro? Thanks guys ![]() |

If you are using kickstart 2.0+ and 68020+ I'd switch to v1.48/1.49rc2 or use asm-pro. Both are very similar and a pretty big upgrade.
INCBIN "abc.bin" works fine for me in 1.49rc2: - default dir (in options, amiga-[) is set to sources: - all files are in e.g. sources:dir_xyz/ - in incbin I only have to specify a filename, not full path OK, dug out 1.20 from my archive. INCDIR "Sources:bla/bla/" (must have trailing /) at the start of your source, or manually switching directory in command mode with vSources:bla/bla before using a/ad/ao were the only thing that worked for me. Hi a/b,
in asmPro 1.17 I have the same issue. [R]eading a source won't make the assembler find files in the same folder. However [v] to change the working directory is very useful and does the trick for me in both assemblers. Thanks! Will take a look at v1.48 too. ![]() |
