DJ Mike and myself have been working on it, it kind of works but there are bizarre access faults on several levels and one of the files on the original we were supplied is corrupt.
Unless you own the original you can send us, there isn't much use asking for the game to be installed. |

Lollypop is screwed up big time. There are freak access faults that occur at random points, on ANY version of the game - no easy explanation other than just bad coding. I spent ages trying to track the problem down without much success

One thing I noticed about Lollypops HD Install is the amount of ram it requires to run the game.
I think it was 1.96mb chip or somewhere in that region, which isn't that practical to free up for casual Amiga users. Especially when most would have had a base Amiga. I bet there was probably a lot of complaints back in the day trying to get this game to run from the HD. |

This evening I've released the install for Lollypop, warts and all. Sadly we were never able to track down the source of the random bugs in the game (to do so would require taking apart the entire game piece by piece which just isn't worth it), so I'm afraid this isn't a 100% release, but it's as good as it gets - and at least I've installed it as real files for you Decrunch them to speed up loading if you want.

Could you upload a preinstalled version, Mike? edit: No checksum check? The cracked version works fine. Last edited by Retro-Nerd; 03 July 2007 at 02:36. |

The game had no protection to begin with, so I would hardly think of any warez version as a crack!

Cracking unprotected games... interesting stuff!
I used the un-cracked first disk, then various other images I found. It seems to work fine but it is dull! |

I think the [cr PDY] is simply because PDY released it (although maybe they tried to take credit for cracking it - pretty lame if they did!) - TOSEC, however, doesn't make any distinction between a real crack and a cracking group simply releasing a unprotected game.

@Codetapper, DJ Mike:
You can choose a "Sega Pad" in the options. Is there a button intend for jumping? I have a Sega Mega Drive Pad, but the jump with the Button A-C doesn't work. Last edited by Retro-Nerd; 04 August 2007 at 22:45. |

I have installed the game using SPS 2864 and it seems to work fine.
It's in the zone if anybody wants to give it a more thorough testing session. |

There seems to be differences using different configurations.
A1200 - no Track 40 access, so it works. A500 - Track 40 access - GURU |
