A3000 green power led flashes

Anyone know the complete led flash guide for A3000 problems ?

I'm getting 6 flashes followed by a reboot.

I got that when I was installing my new memory into my SIMM to ZIP adapter. Got any ZIP RAM in?

I did have, but I've pulled that out, and also the extra 1MB of chip ram.

But still 6 led flashes and the screen stays green.

Yeah, managed to find a bad trace and it fixed the green flashes.

But now I get a picture, i.e. Denise appears to be putting out a signal, but still zippadeedoodaa and no boot logo or any attempts to boot from the floppy.

Ugh.

So I managed to fix it up.

Turns out I had four bad traces after the battery damage.

But I could see that Denise was still putting out a signal. And I really felt I'd got the soldering work done after checking connectivity to other parts of the system.

So with that in mind, I thought it could only be Paula that had a problem. As no floppy access would occur and that's Paula's job.

Ordered one from Vesalia and popped it in and she's a workin

THAT'S BLOODY FANTASTIC!

I fixed 6 traces on mine, replaced every chip... And the sodding thing is still utterly dead

Great news that you got it working! Well done
