Is possible to play sharp x68000 modules on Amiga?
Hey guys, anyone knows if there is a way to get the music modules from x68000 games into the Amiga?. I was recently been playing with some games on the emulator, and there are some tunes that are simply brilliant, such as castlevania, parodius, and in general konami productions. There are some midi soundtracks that are simply brilliant!

You should try this : http://aminet.net/package/mus/play/mdxplay_68k
I tried a long time ago but couldn't manage to play anything. I emailed the author and he answered me that maybe, in some cases, it could probably works... or something like this. I would like to play Gauntlet MDX on the Amiga, this tune uses amazing algorithms for an FM chip. Last edited by Jack Burton; 26 February 2012 at 15:59. |

The X68ks have an FM chip as well as PCM built in. You'd probably need a speedy Amiga to play them right.

Thanks all for the replies. Seems that i will have a look at what jack suggested.
On the other hand, speed isn't an issue here. ![]() |

This weekend i will try it under morphos too in order to see if the 68k interpreter can run it. On that machine the last think to worry about is speed...
