I'm still thinking if there is any title which definitely yells for a revision... AFAIK Bill Elliot's Nascar Challenge was also kinda poor in terms of fps... Funny in a certain way how hard to decide if a game is good at all or not, just because if's slowness makes it practically impossible to get a proper consequence.

Test Drive is also gets a new level of gaming experience with a SuperCPU on the C64, sadly the Amiga version doesn't follows that nice tradition. I've tried several versions of it on various configs including the Minimig, although the TD1 gets kinda smoother in terms of visuals, it just doesn't steps over a certain barrier. TD 2 is even worse.

Here are two videos (not emulation) and the speed difference is obvious. [ Show youtube player ] [ Show youtube player ] Unfortunately the way the game was written for 680x0 I don't think you can decouple frame-rate from game speed. More frames/sec = faster gameplay |
