save state crash with quickstart

Hi Toni,
I have a problem, when i launch a game (adf) from the menu quistart when i try to make a save state, i have a message error look the picture.
I can set 1200, 500, best compatibility low compatibility, same result.
No problem with my own configurations, told me if you need more test.
i tested it with winuae 1.3.3 too
ps: perhaps the problem come from my windows or bad drivers installed, i don't know ?

I found it's just because "add pc drives at startup" is set when you launch winuae if i unset this option all work ok.
Can you confirm Toni

Oh dear.

Why have you posted this in a new thread when it should be in the WinUAE beta thread! Its clearly the beta version you are using.

Alhough I think this is more of a turrican3 problem than a problem with the beta.

Add PC drives shouldn't be selected by default. It isn't on mine. Obviously you must have ticked that box yourself becuase WinUAE doesn't do it. Jeez.

Where does he say it is beta-specific? (of course if it is beta-specific..)

Attach/email winuaebootlog.txt, winuaelog.txt and crash dump (all from same crashed session)

(can't test today, PC problems, it seems few months old power supply is getting unstable..)

I don't comment on the save state crash, never used save state and probably never will. But I can confirm that if "add pc drives at startup" is ticked in the default.uae config, then it stays active no matter which quickstart config you choose.

This issue was finally solved, thanks turrican3.

FS statesave gets confused if statefile is created before filesystems are initialized (for example by booting non-dos disk)
