The Settlers- Small, strange gameplay problem.

Well, it's not a problem as such, more of a request, used to play this game to death on the good old Amiga, have recently discovered WinUAE, and was just wondering whether anyone can tell me how to get the geologist type person out of the keep and onto the map so he digs around for the resources and posts signs? Can't for the life of me work it out, and it's really bugging me. I'm probably missing something really small, was wondering if anyone could point out where I'm going wrong. Haha. Thanks.

hi and welcome to eab
you have to put a flag on the mountain and connect the road to it then left right click to bring up the window then click on the geoligists head
for him to come and find the minerals.

Right click the flag and then left click whilst the right button is still down
