WinUAE Configurations
Afternoon folks,
Just wondering, has anyone ever made a definite listing/spreadsheet detailing the correct setups in WinUAE for the ADF's, HDF's etc? If not, if you guys want to send me the details of the setups you have, I can see if I can put something together, and post it to the Zone, in the form of an Excel sheet or summat (yes I know I said Excel...sorry...PC prog....lol). I will need details of everything including: Game title, Chip/Fast Ram, Rom, CPU, Chipset, JIT settings (if applicable), sound setup and everything else that can be thought of. If the list exists, well kick my arse and send me back to sleep! Ta. |

If you're just using WinUAE to play games, then a configuration that matches whatever Amiga model the game was written to run on will work fine in most cases. Though adding some RAM usually doesn't hurt.
Read up on the specifications of the various models and set up configurations that match them. Also WinUAE already has some excellent premade ones. If you have problems getting a specific game to run, post away. |

Compatibility
Back2Roots.org used to have such information until the site disappeared.
Next best thing is http://eager.orgfree.com/ for Amiga Games database. Also, see Winuae help file for more setup info for each Amiga model at http://www.pcguru.plus.com/uae_faq.html |

THanks....
Cheers guys,
I don't just use WinUAE for games (Got several HD's set up with various old utils installed), but just thought it'd be ueful for anyone who doesn't really have any clue about setups etc. If they already exist, then I guess it's saved me a few nights work....lol!! |

I made 2666 separate configurations for each my Amiga game. It's 4,5MB zip. In description I put game genre, but in polish language:
