I'm not sure this will be of interest, but I figured since some of the older Dread Patreon versions have been public for a while now there's no harm in posting this.
Attached is a dual format disk image with the same 2021 Dread demo for the Amiga and ST which I hacked-up a while back. I think it should work with emulators, floppy emulators and can be 'burnt' to a real floppy as well. A bit of a novelty perhaps. |

Thank you for the disk image
![]() ![]() I've also added the IPF to 'Non TOSEC IPFs' on Turran's server. |

Probably a dual floppy with different content was used (old PD floppy disks). After deleting the files, they were replaced with Dreed game files.
I'm right? |

![]() ![]() The original disk was Zero March 1991, which was essentially OFS on one side and FAT12 on the other. I kept tracks 0 and 40 from the original disk. |

You'll need something like a Kryoflux or GreaseWeazle probably.
I'd suggest a GreaseWeazle because it's cheap enough and IMHO easier to use plus, when writing a .ipf, it can verify what's been written. I've not tried, but maybe if you only have a real Amiga with a floppy emulator (such as a Gotek or a HxC) then you could convert the .ipfto a .hfe, put that on you your floppy emulator, and attempt a nibble copy to a real disk using something like DCopy or XCopy? I suspect that won't work, but could be worth a try? |
