Amiga crash after reload of a snapshot

When i try to reload a snapshot of Midwinter2, i get it back (i see the screen and hear the sound of the motor) but after 2-3 seconds i get a gurus meditation error.

Error 8000 0004 Task: 002635AA.

Can somebody tel me what is that mean (what the amiga error encouter) and why WinUAE reset the Amiga.

Version used WinUAE 0.8.21 R4 for both save and load !!!

Have you tried it in the new Winuae 22R1 to see if it does the same?

0.8.21R4 and older create corrupt state files if fast RAM is enabled. Disable it or create new state file with 0.8.22R1.

Well, i am unable to get back the snapshot because no other version of WinUAE i able to load without crashing the Amiga.

The new increased floppy speed in the last release of winUAE is unable to read the Midwinter 2 diskset.
Is that normal ? (I have try speed => 200%) Only normal (100%) and turbo (but no more access speed than 100%) work.

Is that a bug ?

From time to time, I've been successful in getting around this by loading such a save-state file TWICE. (after getting the guru, I just retried and it worked!)
Try it!

You can't load it because it is corrupted.. (like I said, fast ram enabled and 0.8.21R4 and older -> corrupted state file. Guru's task address confirms your configuration had fast ram enabled)

No. Only if 100% speed fails..

OK Toni Wilen, there seem to be a big bug in WinUAE because every version of it crash/freeze the whole computer (win98/emulator/ect...) while playing Midwinter2.
Read my post in the game problem section for more info about it.
Can you fix it or at least, do that only WinUAE crash and not the OS because it seem to be BAD to my OS !!! :-(

Ok Toni tanks for your reply and your good works about WinUAE, i like these new functions a lot :-)
