Wanted - Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade for CDTV - English Version
I am looking for an English version of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade for CDTV. It was never released as an official English version as far as I know but someone may have created an English CDTV disc version from floppy disks. I have tried myself and cannot get t to run.

putting the floppies on CD (and removing the protection in the process) is a good idea. If no official version exists, I could create one.

Thanks for the replies. JOTD, that would be great if you could. I have tried it myself but when I install the game to hard drive using WHDLoad I cannot get it to run. I tried putting it to CDTV disc anyway as I thought it might be my WinUAE setup but after it removes the trademark screen it just stays blank.

I can create a CDTV english title if people are interested, but we can also fix your whdload issue. note: creating a bootable CDTV isn't hard, but you can't do it by just burning the files. You need ISOCD, or maybe ISOCDWin by statmat (eab member) IIRC. |

i don't know if this CDTV version is official because on HOL is reported a CD label that seems LucasFilm original one and also it is original because you must have German Manual.
In some Tosec archive is reported like "HomeBrew", but there is no manual or copy protection code available. |

WHDLoad works fine for others that I have put to CD, although this is only 2 games so far. I have managed to do Alfred Chicken and Indiana Jones & The Fate of Atlantis, the adventure game. Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade though installs but when I try to run the game it throws up an error saying; DOS- Error ~205 (object not found) on reading "devs:kickstarts/kick34005.1500". This file is there but nothing I do will sort this.

I doubt that it is
devs:kickstarts/kick34005.1500. Not possible. you need devs:kickstarts/kick34005.A500 and devs:kickstarts/kick34005.A500.RTB please post a screenshot of the contents of your devs:kickstarts directory. I'm sure something is missing it's nothing. |

Now that is strange. If I look in WinUAE>Workbench>Devs the draw does not show as there. However if I look in the the same path but on my PC it does show with both of those files in it.

kickstarts.info is missing, so you don't see the drawer in workbench. Expected (this can be changed with the wb menu so you see all dirs). Please show us the contents of that directory.

I have now managed to get past that but I am now getting the error in the screenshot. I have tried a version that I have and one that I got from EAB. Not sure if this is because it is a cracked version or not.

Done, thanks. Hopefully that is everything. I have just zipped the Last Crusade folder from my HD-Games folder in WinUAE on my PC.

Just to mention it - we found out why Loom and Indy CDTV were never officially released. The built-in memory function is rubbish because it tries to save on the CD and not on the CDTV memory card. Pretty useless for an adventure.
EDIT: a1k thread in german https://www.a1k.org/forum/index.php?threads/76280/ |

the zoned version is a crack. The main file is the crack file, the exe must have been renamed. Not going to support that version. Please find working "indy" file in the zone.

Thanks for all the help so far. I have downloaded the file you uploaded and copied that into my LastCrusade folder on my Games HD. When I run that I get a blank screen with a blue message advising that there is "not a DOS disk in device CD0" with the options Retry or Cancel. Retru obviously brings up the same, if I press cancel it says "no disk in DF0" and then if I press cancel it says "Please insert Disk 1, press enter". Clearly I am doing something wrong but ot sure what.
