Demonstration and Interview with Jan Derogee

Hi guys.

Yesterday i was on a Amiga-meeting in my country The Netherlands near Utrecht (Maarssen) and i had the privilege to interview Jan Derogee 1 of the guys behind the Minimig project with his permission, Dennis van Weeren and him are colleagues of work.

He gave me "Trackah123" and my friend "Efeman" a demonstration of the Minimig but its some sort of new prototype with more cores, since i don't know anything about technology it was interesting to watch. I filmed it on my camcorder the interview and demonstration of it but since its in complete dutch language i have to put English Subtitles in it and can take me some time because it sounded all very technical so i will post the film later when its finished editing.

In the meanwhile you can read more below about his project.

Quote:
work in progress is the porting of existing cores to work on the minimig (example: C64, VIC20). This would make the Minimig a very powerfull and versatile machine.

it was pretty neat because the VIC20 and C64 actually worked on the minimig in a Alternative mode.

Here are some screenshots.

Forgive the black bars on monitor (in motion you get rolling black bars), probably my camcorder recorded the amount of hz displayed on the CRT monitor.
