Psygnosis truetype font?

Does anybody know if a truetype font version of the famous Psygnosis logo exists?

It can be easily done, except for the colours of course :P

When I get Fontographer again I might be able to knock it up for you.

If you need the whole font and you have a source to look at other than Frog's bitmapped font, send it to me and I'll vectorize it accurately.

As soon as I get Fonto I'll whip it up in TrueType or Type 1 or whatever

ofcourse to make it really like psygnosis you need to join up some chars..

like xtc did with exotica one

(based on the agony version of psygnosis font. not the normal logo)

ok. i admit. this is just another post to show off xtc's logos..
but i really like his work. hehe

That'd be easy I guess... I just need a reliable source to copy teh font from!

By the way, here's my take at the Psyggy logo

it's got a few errors in there, I know. I never finished it!

Well, if I'm going to base it in Frog's charset, it's gonna look bad. Compare the letters from what I posted to the letters on what Frog posted. I took my letters from the original logo. Of course you are right when you say the charset up there doesn't look fine! They look more squashed sideways and too roundish...

But where to ge ta complete Psygnosis fontset otherwis? I think I'll rework it from the charset but using the real proportions.

the font i post was used in a demo by Impact Inc.
I post it to help any of you to do your own. Personnaly i think it look quite good but when i see your comment it seems you wanted something perfect or perhaps you would like i post the font in B/W truetype you're looking for.
So redo it from scratch...

Damn, people are never satisfied...

Hey Frog, dont get mad!!! We apreciate your posting and it is a good kickstart, but you see, I (and I think Kodoichi too!) am very PICKY when it comes down to design

We were not bashing you or anything, I was actually bashing the one who made the font, because I'm picky as hell... Please don't get upset!

It will be a challenge to make the font as accurate as possible. I didnt'want you to upload the truetype font!

Thinlega: me ole chum, me UK clone! That charset looks much more like the real thing. Where did you get it?

Using Frog's and thinlega's fonts I think I could recontruct the Psygnosis font into truetype... However now look at the Exotica one and compare it to the one posted by thinlega. XTC resolved it the way he wanted to, too

How will I vectorize it? by hand, I can't trust any programs to do that

You'll see the results this weekend I hope!

Not sure where i got this version from.....but I think it looks like it was ripped from a game...(beast 1???) maybe

....Years ago when the amiga ruled I to did a version of the psygnosis logo.......and I too did a "psycho" version !!!!

Look,t the psyclapse logo looks more like Frog's charset. And thinlega's charset looks more like the psygnosis logo. (pay attention to the P in both)

So which one to follow? I like the sharper one.
