A3000 video slot cover

The Amiga 3000 had a special slot cover that allowed the user to install either an A2000 style video card or a Zorro card in the same slot position. You can see what I'm talking about in the top position of the attached image. Can anyone tell me more about this slot cover? Better yet, can anyone provide images and/or dimensions?

There's not much to tell. It's just a piece of metal that extends somewhat above the card cage's top edge, has a rectangular opening for A2000 video slot cards and also it has two screw holes where the A2000 video card's rear bracket can be screwed into.

If you're happy with fastening the video slot card using only the lower screw hole, you could easily cut/drill an adapter out of an old card slot blank.. You can get the dimensions by installing an A2000 card into the slot without the adapter bracket and measuring the offset from the edge of the card cage to the bottom screw hole of the video slot card with a caliper.

I should have one somewhere in my stash. I'll see if I can remember where I saw it and take some pictures.

I have one in one of my A3000's. Why do you want the measurements? Are you going to 3D Print a replica?

@jasonbeer did you just want the measurements of the silver piece? The other piece that is bolted to it looks identical to the CPU slot cover from the back of an A2000...

Great! That's all I need for measurements...can you flip it over and post a pic from the other side? It looks like all the pics are on the same side.
