Pimiga in WinUAE audio issues

So I downloaded Pimiga, extracted the hard drive directories from the image and the a1200 configuration file. I then imported the config into WinUAE and setup the directories to point to the correct folder.

It all starts up fine but there is definitely an issue with the audio. It seems really jittery and there is quite a bit of static too. I haven't messed about with the settings as I'm new to all this. My understanding is that Pimiga is intended to run on Amiberry and there is perhaps some setting that need changing to run this properly in WinUAE. Does anyone have any ideas?

I have a thread about extracting the disks and mounting them as a whole disk with partitions or otherwise in a real Amiga (WinUAE is a good exercise as well).
This is my thread: https://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=106736

I don't want to hijack yours, FuzzBall, since you're asking for help. Could you please come over my thread and share some details about the way you extracted the disks?

version 1.5. I didn't think to ask on their channels as the image is setup to be used with Amiberry rather than WinUAE so assumed they wouldn't know what the issue would be. No harm in asking though so thanks for the link.

This is indeed something to do with the Pimiga configuration. I'm using the same demo drive from Pimiga with a new ClassicWB install and the sound is fine.
