Dud LCD TV / Monitor?

Hi all,

Have been doing quite a bit of research regarding an LCD solution for my Amigas.

I ended up buying a ViewSonic N1900W monitor, which has SCART, Video DVI RGB Component etc

To my dismay when I plug it into my Amiga(s), even in the basic PAL mode (ie playing games), it has an annoying and eventually headache inducing shimmer / flicker

I thought it was just the Amigas so I tried my PS2, but it seems to be similar.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this. Could it be possible I have a faulty monitor?
