Black Crypt?

Has anyone managed to get anything useful from Black Crypt save states? I tried but got thoroughly confused.

Here's one, of around level 2 or 3 -- don't know what sprites it includes, but if it's any use I can provide others from other levels for further ripping.

Well your savestate is compressed!

Save it uncompressed and try again

you can also load it into Winuae and save an uncompressed yourself...this works fine until there is a disk access...

I *have* tried the ripper but I'm really not getting it.

Sorry for bumping this topic!

Does someone ripped Black Crypt resources?

I have found i can rip sounds as wav files by using internal ripper in WinUAE, i have ripped med files (music) using MRIPPER(DOS APP file name mrip300b.zip) i can upload.

Also i found several files with names "bcdf?" where ? goes from a to z, these files contains images (6 bit planes).

I can use GfxRip108 to get it
open for example bcdfr (and you can see 4 images, 1-4bitplanes 320x200, 2-6bit 320x200, 3- 6bit 320x44, 4-6bit 320x200)

I have found some other images
80x72
128x105
64x136
320x200
320x44
32x24

all 6bit
but no palette.

I can make proper palette by looking at game getting right color and insert it to image, but that long way.

Any other ideas?

Here is the correct Palette

(Codetapper here is an ok reason to have palette export as Amiga .PAL or raw)

OK I'll see what I can do regarding a palette importer/exporter soon.

In the meantime, you can actually save the image as a PNG as it will be saved as an 8-bit indexed image and load into a paint program to retain the correct colours.

Sorry for bumping. I have ripped everything that possible from Black Crypt, from save states.

P.S. But i want to rip directly from bcdf? files, to not miss any details, and become to much closer to original as possible.

Any ideas, help?
