Wanted: NTSC A1200 w/ 030 or A4000/040

I'm looking to get a replacement machine for my old A1200 that was lost in a move a few years ago. Looking on eBay, all I see are PAL 1200s, and a handful of 4000s being sold at stupid prices by people who don't really understand what they're selling.

So, I am searching for a working NTSC A1200 that has been upgraded with a (not EC) 030 w/ FPU, or an NTSC A4000/040.

Why do you need it to be NTSC? AGA machines switch between PAL and NTSC.
(Honest, curious question)

1. I want US keycaps
2. PAL machines output a PAL signal through the RF Modulator and composite outputs, which means monochrome on an NTSC/ATSC TV.
3. 120V/60Hz electricity where I live. I don't want to have to buy a step-down transformer.
4. I don't want to deal with overseas shipping and customs headaches.

I have a recently recapped A1200 in a Kickstarter clear case with Blizzard 1230 MKIV, SCSI kit, CF hard disk adapter, pcmcia ethernet, mas player evolution, rapidroad USB, Indi AGA MK2CR, and updated power supply. I'm located in San Francisco. I can ship easily and quickly. Oh yeah, also have a nice cloth cover

PM me with offer!

I am just trying to make your search easier because I feel your pain about getting Amiga hardware states-side. Here's some tips:

You should be using RGB in which case PAL/NTSC does not matter, there's plenty of options, from Commodore monitors toPVMs/BVMs to upscalers and scandoublers for VGA monitors.
RF/Composite are terrible. Nobody should use that in 2017.

Craigslist is pretty good for good quality Sony PVMs.

You can buy an A1200 that is just the computer and source a local 120V power supply.
You can also adapt an ATX or picoPSU power supply to your Amiga (this is what I have, it's 110/240)

Step-down converter is a last measure.

Fair enough. You wouldn't have to deal with customs in most cases, but costs are indeed high.
Still, there are people in the US that have PAL machines for sale that you can keep an eye out for.

Save for your keyboard specificity (you may be able to change keys around, diferences are minimal, and I wouldn't care this much), you can very much use a PAL Amiga in US land easily.

I have a NTSC A1200 with GVP JawsII with FPU and 16 MB I am willing to take with me to US on the next business trip. $549 firm price, which is not bad considering packing hassle and already below eBay prices.
