Workbench 3.1 help - noob alert!

Ok I haven't got a clue

Just got my first 1200 & installed 3.1.

A few first time user questions:

How do you delete things? For example I moved an extra monitor driver to the DEV's folder and couldn't work out how to remove it again?

Also, do you have to quit WB or is it safe to just turn the power off?

Finally, what is the key combo for doing a soft reset?

Deleting a file? Click on its icon and go to the "Icon" menu and select "Delete"

Nope, you don't have to quit, just switch the machine off (taking care that no disk access is taking place, obviously).

To do a soft reset, hold down Ctrl-Amiga-Amiga.

For the first question : You should use the CLI (command line interface). Sorry I'm busy at the moment, so I can't explain it deeper. Just have a look on the net and you should get it
