But how do you play music in game ????

For me it works without in game music but with it ticked when I have chosen my options (fire to brake etc) instead of starting the race this happens

It's a compression issue. I have used RN packer (unofficial) to distribute the archive but obviously this trashes the game. Well, it works for some people...????

I always test with fully unpacked files. Less time to load, easier to work with. I have to see what alternatives to RNC I can use

Find a new archive in the zone. Takes more memory to load, but works.

music by whdload splash screen only ATM. Make sure to re-download v0.8 as there were packing issues.

You see i always launch my games from amiga dos :
dh0:c/whdload slave=Supercars2.slave preload splashdelay=0

Damn it, there are still issues with this latest release ;-(

If "enable in-game music" is ticked then the same issue as before occurs i.e. when the level is supposed to start there's just a black screen.

If you don't tick "enable in-game music" there are weird sound effects when playing, see https://streamable.com/nvw5h9

Hi there! First of all thanks for the great job!
I confirm the black screen with "enable in-game music" however I didn't get weird sound effects when playing the game. I completed two "Easy" Championship without any issues.
I used the first v.0.8 alpha version on my A1200 with Vampire V1200.

i confirm strange bugs with starting levels, also the fact that music can cause issues... I'll test more later.

wtf how can a game behave so differently with whdload running it... I never witnessed this issue.

I have decrunched the files and uploaded them again yesterday in the zone. Is that this version that you're using?

I just downloaded the newer version and I still get a black screen when in game music is selected. Also the magnetic fields screen appears to be missing from this version too.

I've raised it a little. Maybe there will be a setting to change the volume. thanks for the video, made me notice that I picked 5 songs but never the 6th one. Also I saw the used channels so I can adapt the sfx mask.

I can confirm that in game music now works. Not sure if it’s my imagination though or does the game seem a little bit more sluggish with in game music? Especially at the start with all the opponents cars on screen.

Looking very tidy now

Oh one other thing there is no icon included with this latest version so I just stole the icon from the regular supercars 2 install
