Galaga '92 + Galaxy 94...

Hello people,

Does anybody have adf's of these 2 games (if they exist) that they could upload to The Zone!:

* Galaga '92 v1.4
* Galaxy 94 (English verison)

I've searched the web and all usual places but no luck (note that with Galaxy 94 I can only find the German version)...

Cool, need to find this. I'll have a search on the web. Is it possible to get the .adf off this compilation?

Sorry guys, I'm probably being stupid. I'm bit new at anything that's not an adf, .adz or .ipf file...

Is this a hard drive file or whdload file (never really used these as yet)?

I've tried running the Galaga.lha from WinUAE but was unsuccessfull. Also tried extracting the .lha file using WinRAR to a directory called Galaga, then adding this in as a dierctory from under Hard Drives...

How do I run this .lha file?

Hello Retro-Nerd,

Many thanks, that's a bit easier for me I think. This is v1.4 hey?

Just out of interest can anybody help me with getting the .lha to work (for future reference)?

Nice one Retro-Nerd.

Is Assassins Compilation Disk a commercial disk or something somebody's put together?

Ah, thank you again.

I wondering if there is some sort of Amiga "file manager" I could use just to grab Galaga '92 v1.4 off this disk (used to know one but it's been a long while since I had used my old A500 with expansion). Don't really want the other stuff...

Ok, the final solution. I copied the Galaga 1.4 file from the Lha archiv to the old Galaga ADF. It works. Now you have this game on disk only. In the Zone.

You should give these things always a try. But pay attention to the filesnames. I had to delete the "+" from the V1.4 filename.

Hey Retro-Nerd,

What programs do you use to look inside .adf's and then copy / delete files?

You can use DirOPUS 4.16. I don't have a ADF at the moment. You don't have a HD installed Worbench Version or Packages like AIAB or Amiga SYS 2 right?

i have a installable Version but i look if i found a ADF for you.

I found my old Dopus adf. i upload it now for you. But it is MUCH easier to use installed Amiga OS packages like AIAB or Amiga SYS 2.

Cool, thanks for the information.

No, I don't actually have a HD with WB installed. Still need to work out how to do this (I know there are tutorials but haven't played around)...
