I live my miggys without HD on ages without worry,but the ones with IDE HD i dont. few hours maximum.

My 1200 has been powered on (I have rebooted it a few times) for about 10 months straight, maybe longer. So I guess you could so I have forgotten to turn it off. :-)

Forgot to turn my A1200 off a couple of times back when I still used to drink and get too pissed

Currently it never happens and I just leave it on until I go to bed, same for my peecee. I wonder how much wear that causes... Probably not much...

i would think burn in on a monitor would be the worst problem

Not if you remember turn the monitor off.

I have done that so many times with my old 500 it's not even funny. Turn the monitor off but forget the machine.
