For the recent GamesCom I did an interview about coding Rygar with a couple of the guys at Amiga Future.

When I did this interview I had the worst case of the shits I've ever had - hence the sweat on I have.

Skip to about 10 mins in.

Green pixels?

Some green pixels right above lava in the lower screen.
Is this a glitch in WinUAE emulation?

Thumbs up Having lots of fun with this!

Thank you McGeezer and Seismic Minds for this AGA conversion, it's pixel perfect in every detail and you even added some extra shine in it. I really appreciated the new game manual!

Hope we can get more of these classic hits on our beloved Amiga hardware, too bad I only got an A500 so I'm out of these AGA remakes... but I can have fun with it on Retroarch.

I decided to do a quick gameplay (after couple hours of training), hope you like it.

Thanks again and keep on with bug squashing!

Hi Graeme,

What about the boxed version of Rygar ? Has anybody received it ?
I ordered it almsot one year ago, and still no delivery so far...
Would be nice to have a kind of schedule for the release, isn't it ?

Thank you !

Hi sodapop,

The Rygar boxes are being placed with the Devil's Temple boxes which is very nearing completion. I can only apologise it's taking so long, work, family issues, wars, pandemics have all got in the way and caused the delay.

I'm more than happy to issue you a refund, just email me your order number and i'll sort it for you, or if you're happy to wait I'll provide a schedule as soon as I can.

Cheers,
Graeme

Hi Graeme,

No problem at all with the wait, as long as it sees the light of the day ;-)

Cheers !

Mcgeezer: what company do you use to get those game boxes?

Also, if it's not too much to ask, how many boxes do you order on average per game?

Do they send you preassembled boxes or do you have to do it yourself?

Asking because I have had this project idea for a while (on the Atari ST though), and I prefer to order from a company that prove reliable.

Thanks

Thanks for this conversion.

Back in time, I was lucky enough to play the original Rygar in an Arcade machine Coin Up, in a generic arcade machine. I used to pass the holidays in a village and in one of the two bars of the town that summer was Rygar! there. I was there for two months and spent some coins in Rygar.

I never passed 4 or 5 levels, I was bad playing I was just a kid, but the game is very like that Rygar, it´s a great conversion, really.

The intro is incredible, and the music, the sounds, the gameplay, the movement, all, it´s really a fantastic conversion. Congratulations to the makers!
