Saving progress in James Pond 3 cd32
Hi, I am playing James Pond 3 on cd32 and was wondering how you save progress? I have freed up all the blocks on the cd32 but I do not know what I have to press or do to save my progress. Does it save the game automatically or is there something I press on the world map to bring up a save screen?

you are allowed to save after level 4. There's a screen where you can save.
The whdload version has levelskip which also enables save. This is pretty dumb and was only designed to test save feature, so it should be 2 separate features. Will be fixed soon. Last edited by jotd; 30 August 2020 at 10:46. |

However, the latest WHDLoad version didn't actually save the game as I've reported in another JP3 thread (too lazy to dig it up) The screen flashes while saving, but the save is just not there when launching the game again. I did quit WHDload properly by using the fwd+rev+something combo. @JOTD can you pls look into that sometime? |
