Uncle D's Con-Sound-Tration (very rare!)
My boyfriend got things set up to transfer files from our old (untouched for 10 years) Amiga to our PC. The first game I had him attempt is Uncle D's Con-Sound-Tration, which is an extremely rare game (I couldn't find hardly any info on it, much less the file). I have it uploaded to the Zone now, so please grab it so it will spread.

Thank you very much Doranwen
Old games discovered these days for the Amiga are really rare. I will have a look at this 'new' game on the weekend. Again thanks for sharing it |

Hi all,
First … Sorry for the 20 Year old reply! Second .. I was part of the team that ported this game to the Atari ST. Third .. This game has a LOT of great fun AMIGA trivia / connections. For example, Dennis “Uncle D” Hayes, and Bill Barton both went on to work at Digital Creations to help make the amazing animation & paint program “Brilliance”. .. As did the team that ported CON-SOUND-TRATION to the Atari ST (Game Grid Software, that became ArtisTech Development). ArtisTech Development ported, and improved, several games from PC to both Amiga and AtariST. …and all people mentioned went on to amazing careers in both console gaming, PC graphics/gaming, and phone gaming. (Here’s some titles many would know: .. Jak and Daxter, Uncharted, Pokémon Go). Last edited by dragontbear; 20 April 2024 at 03:16. |

It seems to have vanished from the FTP so I tossed it back in the Zone.

I've added it to the file server in 'Non TOSEC Games/Disk' now.

Cheers Retroplay! I literally just asked for this in the other thread before reading this one. Does anyone know if there is a copy of the ST version as that seems to be totally MIA.

I saw this game on ebay a while ago, it was like 2000 bucks or something ridiculous. It was later bought by the Embracer Game Archive.
Also, AC's guide to the Commodore Amiga magazine advertised four data disks of this game, titled simply CST Data Disk 1-4. |

I've uploaded a generic WHDLoad install to the zone.
