Amiga 1000 Kickstart Switcher : free design
Attached are gerbers for a free Kickstart switcher for the Amiga 1000. The necessary mods for this design are detailed here. My original thread discussing this project can be found here.
This current design will relocate the 68000 socket allowing the use of accelerators/adapters such as the TF530, MKL 8MB+IDE, etc. while safely clearing both the floppy drive and RF shield. This board will additionally provide the ability to switch between two Kickstart ROMs. All you need are a few turned pins (or sockets), round pin headers, 2 X 10Kohm 1206 caps and some time. NOTE: This set of gerbers have not yet been tested. This is, however, the third revision of my design and they have all worked thus far. Please give feedback as to your experiences so this post can be properly updated. Thanks! Last edited by EzdineG; 21 July 2018 at 05:37. Reason: Tested, working |

Thank you for this. If I still had my Miggy 1000, I would totally try it.

What about something more complicated? Golden Gate 486 clone for example? lol |
