Those caps don't look original so I would say the board has been recapped already.

I would say they are original. You can even see the dull pads from the leakage...

Well, I've been asked not to put stickers on the board, and even to remove stickers from previous repairs / recaps when doing work on some people's machines. So I tend not to myself...

It's difficult to tell from the picture alone. I always thought that original Commodore smd caps were in black, not blue, but I guess it wouldn't do any harm to get it recapped, even if it has been recapped already.

Most are indeed black, but Commodore will have used whatever type were cheapest at the time of manufacture, so suppliers and brands changed. It's hard to tell from the photos because they're just not clear enough at the joints... but the through hole capacitors are Elna, which are a brand used by Commodore, so there's a good chance these haven't been changed.

Sure when Steve sold it to me it mentioned recapped, wish I could find that (albeit, super old) thread, only the A600 takes ages to boot up and heard that's maybe a tell-tale sign of a certain cap going?
