In a way, most mainstream multi player games are like metaverse. Like fortnite or roblox.

I usually judge whether some tech thing will become a big success by what the super nerds online are into and then bet on the opposite.
Everyone said VR would be "the next big thing" and in my experience it is mostly terrible. See also NFTs, crypto as actual currency and a bunch of other crap nobody wants. |

.. because people want amigaaaaaa
crypto is evil/energy wasting/ponzi scheme scam But VR IS fun. Just look at failarmy videos where bozos break their TVs or hurt themselves with a VR helmet on. |

But, but... aren't we just "a certain clique of 'smart' people" that want to see those things fail? I mean who can say those are terrible ideas just because the majority doesn't like them. It's like if you want something to succeed you'd need to make sure that it meets what people actually want (even if they don't know it yet) rather than making something up that you think is 'the future'.

3 things I want to see:
- Nuclear fusion - Space curving spaceships to dwarf the speed of light - NASA's 'Helical Engine' which could approach the speed of light |

I had a go at Virtual Reality once in the Trocadero in the 90's. Later I found out it was powered by Amigas. It was pretty cool. I got eaten by a Pterodactyl.

More like people didn't give two shits for animated Viewmaster vision lol.
If you like or support anything Zuckerburg does then you are a cockzucker* In a parallel dimension where irving gould and TI founder were stillborn the Amiga would be king of the world *tm me |

Nuclear fusion will never be economically doable, the material wear and tear is just too heavy. Just go for renewable energies, it's cheaper and more realistic.

Maintaining 150 million degrees long enough to be able to produce energy, yes that sounds a bit steep.
It's going to take a few years/centuries. But in the end it has to be done. |

Why Amiga should have a place in Metaverse in the first place?
The graphics in the Metaverse are way too bad for our beloved Amigas. |
