Problems with PCMCIA ethernet Card port?

Hi All

I have two Amiga 1200

My Main Amiga 1200 work fine with the Amigakit Easynet PCMCIA Card.

And my 2nd Amiga 1200 PCMCIA Port is NOT working, I got it a while age nerver tested to port until now.

Can anyone tell me a way of testing to see why the port has gone down.

SYS:Tools/PrepCards lists some info or cardinfo?
may happen there are some damaged pins of the port.
try to inspect the port like done here. maybe a bent pin.

hmm, one message says: AmiTCP must be started first.

i really have no clue how amitcp will start. maybe something in s:user-startup or an icon in SYS:WBStartup

there might be a logfile in sys:AmiTCP - subfolder LOG or something.
if there is a recent logfile, just read it, maybe it reveals some problems.

i guess AmiTCP has been installed in SYS: AmiTCP
if there is a folder visible on your boot partition, look inside for a "Start AmiTCP" icon, or something like that, start it, if there is such thing.

if you want remove amitcp and easynet, you can look for EasyNet and AmiTCP entries in s:user-startup
you can comment out these lines, with a ; at the start of each line.

if you re-install easynet from your CD, look for a start option for amitcp. maybe you can choose between manual or automatic.
