Art Expression V2.04 working copy?
Hi, can anyone point me in the direction of a working ADF set of Art Expression V2.04 ?
Both the versions I have aquired (one set from the EAB Server, the other from the Amiga Archive site) both throw up a DOS, missing source files error on HD installation onto Winuae workbench 3.0 (and I have tried a WB3.1 as well.) Any advice or help is welcome as it looks a neat little prog. Ta, Peter |

Hi Peter, I own a brand new NOS boxed set of Art Expression V1.0 - 5 disks. If I'm not mistaken I think (I may have the download) there's an update(s) to bring it up to the latest version. I also have the manual in PDF format (1st edition).
If you're interested, I guess I would have to upload it to the ZONE or somewhere. (Probably need help with that). Let me know if interested..... Was just looking in my downloads folder and I have; Art Expression v1.04 for tosec - 2.04 is fake.zip hahahaha So, I could be wrong on finding an update.... Hi, cheers for the reply, I have already nabbed the pdf manual online and can find the older 1.04 version but it was really the 2.04 version I was keen to try.
Disk 2 of my set (s) has a checksum error as well so I am not doing too well with this - I have just copied all files over manually to my HD into a folder and I am going to try to get it to run that way but I think I may have problems... I'll give it a shot... |

Ciao Peter EAB Server Art Expression V2.04 it works, the installer goes into error because the file does not find the file "ArtExpressionDict2.04" even if present, even the "Font Disk" has Checksum Error.
Solution to start installation (see screenshot) Use DiskSalv to correct errors AEprogram and AEfonts1, however you can safely use disk AEfonts1 from ArtExpression v1.0 (they are the same as 2.04) installation 2.04 also requires AEfonts2 which you can take always from ArtExpression v1.0 (disk 4) In any case you can also copy everything manually IF you want i can post the correct Floppy Last edited by AMIGASYSTEM; 21 October 2018 at 23:02. |

Hello,
I was reading this as I am interested in using Art Expression, but I can't find it. Did anyone uploaded it to the Zone? Any link? Thank you |
